RSUPESY&T students Artemiy and Marina Katashinskiy - sport dance World Cup winners

Within the tournament "Autumn Moscow-2016"  took place the World Cup in sports dance WDC. In the category "youth-2" the 3rd year students of the Department T&M of Dance Sport Artemiy and Marina Katashinskiy became champions of the World Cup

Student of the University Sofia Serkina will perform at the International tournament in modern pentathlon "Kremlin Cup"

October 2, 2016 in Moscow for the seventh time will be held International Tournament in modern  pentathlon "Kremlin Cup".

Russian team at this tournament will be presented by two teams. One of them -  Olympic champion Alexander Lesun and world champion Donata Rimšaitė. The second one - winner of the Youth Olympic Games Alexander Lifanov and world champion among juniors Sofia Serkina, RSUPESY&T student.

Competitions will be held in the mixed relay, 12 teams from 11 countries will fight for victory.

RSUPESY&T football players reached the final of All-Russian competition among universities

The first finalist of the All-Russian competition in football among the universities in 2016 became RSUPESY&T, defeating the team of Oryol State University with a score of 4-1 (2-0) and took first place in the results of three games in Kolomna.

RSUPESY&T team won all three meetings: in the first round were defeated hosts - SSHU (Kolomna) 10:0; in the second round - PNIPU "Polytechnic" (Perm) - 4:1.

Students from Perm take home the third place cup, beating in the final match the tournament hosts 4-1 (1-0).

RSUPESY&T student Maria Borisova as part of Russia women's national water polo team won the bronze medal at the Olympic Games 2016

August, 19 in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Russian women's water polo team with the head coach Alexander Gaidukov won "bronze" at XXXI Olympic Games - 2016. The team was presented by the 3rd year student RSUPESY&T of the Theory and methods of sports and synchronized swimming, water aerobics, diving and water polo Department Maria Borisova, Nadezhda Glyzina, Ekaterina Lisunova, Ekaterina Prokofieva, Elvira Karimova, Anastasia Simonovich, Anna Timofeeva and Anna Grinyova, Anna Ustyukhina, Anna Karnaukh, Evgenia Ivanova, Evgenia Soboleva, Olga Gorbunova.

RSUPESY&T graduate Ekaterina Bukina won "bronze" at Olympic Games 2016

August 18, 2016 at Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro graduate of the RSUPESY&T Department of culturology, socio-cultural anthropology and social communications Ekaterina Bukina won the bronze medal in a women's wrestling competitions in the weight category up to 75 kg. In the fight for the bronze medal she beat Annabel Laure Ali, Cameroon (5:3).

"Bronze" was also won by China's Zhang Fengliu. In the final Canadian Erica Wiebe won, leaving no chance to Kazakhstan's athlete Guzel Manyurova - 6:0.


RSUPESY&T graduate Artur Akhmatkhuzin gained Russia's fifth gold medal in Fencing Men's Foil Team match at the Rio 2016

August 13, 2016 in the framework of XXXI Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, took place a series of fencing men's foil team matches, where  graduate of the RSUPESY&T Department of theory and methods of martial arts Artur Akhmatkhuzin with Russian fencers Timur Safin and Alexey Cheremisinov ranked first, confidently beating the French in a serious match.

Graduate of RSUPESY&T, sabre fencer Sofya Velikaya won in Women's Sabre Team Gold Medal Match at the XXXI Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro

August 14, 2016 graduate of the RSUPESY&T Department of theory and methodology of martial arts Sofya Velikaya together with Yulia Gavrilova, Ekaterina Dyachenko and Yana Egoryan gained the top podium step as a result of women’s sabre team competitions.

RSUPESY&T graduate Denis Dmitriev - Olympic Games-2016 bronze medalist in Cycling Track, Men's Sprint

August 14, 2016 RSUPESY&T graduate of the Department of theory and methods of cycling, the best Russian contemporary track sprinter Denis Dmitriev won the bronze medal in the Olympic tournament in cycling sprint.

RSUPESY&T graduate Ekaterina Makarova won the Tennis Women's Doubles Gold Medal Match at Rio 2016

Graduate of the RSUPESY&T Department of theory and methods of tennis Ekaterina Makarova in a pair with Elena Vesnina on 14 Aug 2016 became the champions of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in Women's Doubles tournament.

Student of RSUPESY&T, gymnast Aliya Mustafina won the "bronze" at the XXXI Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro

RSUPESY&T student of Department of theory and methods of gymnastics Aliya Mustafina won individual bronze medal in artistic gymnastics all-around at the Olympic Games-2016. Aliya showed result 58.665 points.

American Simone Biles won Gold (62.198), her compatriot Alexandra Raisman took Silver (60.098).
