Two-week advanced training course for Brazilian trainers and teachers ended with awarding of certificates. Ten specialists have been trained under the program "Theory and methods of highly skilled athletes training" - traditional one at the Russian State University of Physical Education, Sport, Youth and Tourism.
Listeners were greeted by vice-rectors and university professors. Professor RSUPESY&T, president of the Central Olympic Academy Natalia Melnikova presented to Brazilian professionals the book "History of the Olympic Winter Games" - a unique project of authors from Department of History of Physical Culture, Sport and Olympic Education of University under the professor's guidance.
- It was a great pleasure to work with you. I wont forget your inquisitive eyes, a keen interest, - said professor of the Department of theoretical and methodological foundations of physical education and sports RSUPESY&T Vladimir Rubin. - It seemed to me often that you understand me without translator, that my words were so close and clear for you. Interested people who love their profession are united regardless of nationality or country of residence.
- I came to Russia in 1987, that time there were horror stories about Russian coaches and athletes. But I saw a very different country - responded the head of the delegation, representative of the Brazilian Olympic Committee, Antonio Carlos Gomes. - RSUPESY&T education made me a high skilled specialist at home. Having lived in the country for several years, I became a promoter of Russia, Russian lifestyle, achievements. Then I did everything to establish international exchange.
Cooperation with Brazilian specialists in physical education and sports i going on for over 25 years, annual courses allowed to prepare 200 foreign teachers and coaches. Works of 30 employees RSUPESY&T are translated and published in Brazil.
