RSUPESY&T student won the «gold» at VI stage of Grand Prix of Figure Skating

November 26 in Japan finished VI stage of the Grand Prix of Figure Skating NHK Trophy. Competitions are held under the auspices of the International Skating Union (ISU). The NHK Trophy is attended by the best skaters in the world rated ISU in male and female single skating, pair skating and ice dancing.

For a solo-skater, a second-year student RSUPESY&T Anna Pogorilaya competitions ended well. Overtaking competitors in the short program with a score 71.56 points, also Anna leaded in the free program - 139.30 points. This enabled her to confidently consolidate her position on the podium. The main rival, the Japanese skater Satoko Miyahara, Anna aheaded in the general result by 12 points. Satoko's result - 198 points, Anna - 210.86.

Totally women's figure skating was attended by 11 women from 7 countries: Russia, Canada, Japan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Slovakia and the United States. At the end of the competition, Anna received a ticket to the Grand Prix Final, which will take place from 8 to 11 December in Marseilles.
