August 13, 2016 in the framework of XXXI Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, took place a series of fencing men's foil team matches, where  graduate of the RSUPESY&T Department of theory and methods of martial arts Artur Akhmatkhuzin with Russian fencers Timur Safin and Alexey Cheremisinov ranked first, confidently beating the French in a serious match.

 

 

 

 

"In our sport we act not fast, but on time. Speed and reaction here are not principal, maximum concentration is more important. In this sense I had an advantage. It was necessary to build a fight correctly tactically, to impose my game to opponent. To lead him to do comfortable for me,"- shared his impressions after the awards Artur Akhmatkhuzin.
