Graduate of RSUPESY&T, sabre fencer Sofya Velikaya won in Women's Sabre Team Gold Medal Match at the XXXI Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro

August 14, 2016 graduate of the RSUPESY&T Department of theory and methodology of martial arts Sofya Velikaya together with Yulia Gavrilova, Ekaterina Dyachenko and Yana Egoryan gained the top podium step as a result of women’s sabre team competitions.

 

 

 

"Now I can say jokingly that I'm not just Velikaya according to last name but also a great athlete. I am happy that with the team was able to achieve this. I am very happy that we all leave with medals. You can not imagine how it is exciting to see around me only happy people ", - said our graduate Sofya Velikaya.
